Benchmarks for the 8th Challenge

The documents linked below contain the following data provided by 3M and Quantachrome before the challenge conclusion to aid the challenge entrants:

• X-ray Diffraction and Tomography Studies
• X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS/ESCA)
• Trace Elemental analysis via Inductively Coupled Plasma – Atomic Emission Spectroscopy (IAP-AES)
• raw isotherm data (argon 87K, CO2 at 273 K, and water at 293 K on BAM P109) in Excel format.
• Graphs of adsorption  isotherms are given in the Word file.
• An analysis of the data with regard to pore size/volume  distribution etc.. is given in the attached Powerpoint.
• synchroton X-ray absorption spectroscopy and X-ray photoemission spectroscopy of BAM 108, BAM 109, and an additional activated carbon (pdf)
